Detective Weis Mysteries are playable mysteries perfect groups as small as six or as large as forty, depending on the game's parameters.
Many murder mysteries on the market boast about being "highly replayable." We are proud that ours are not. High replayability means that the clues and facts presented in a game do not matter. Heads Up 7 Up was fun in second grade, but we believe plots matter--even if it limits replay value (you can replay as host for friends!) But we have a whole slate of games to choose from with unique themes.

All of our games follow a fun and unique theme. Some of them are themed for specific holidays and different types of get togethers. Family reunions are so close to murder, anyway, might as well make it a game!
Immersive Gameplay Experience

Our mystery games follow mostly the same format and are immersive (you play a game in the role of a character and play out that character how you feel best matches the cards you are given.) Games are part roleplay, part improv, and part social deduction.
Characters will determine clues and and eliminate red herrings, ultimately deciding on a guess as to the culprit's identity. The victim(s) are never eliminated from game play. Criminals do not know their guilt until the game's end--every player should suspect even themselves.
No poker face? No Problem!

Game books include everything necessary to run the game with friends and the book is meant to be cut apart with pages distributed to different players. It is constructed in such a way that players can work through this mystery with or without a host who knows the outcome. There are spoiler warnings on pages to prevent ruining the mystery for players choosing to run this game without a host.
